OUR PROGRAMS
Youth Crisis Center
Sea Haven in Little River, SC operates the only Youth Crisis Center in serving youth aged 12-17 in our coastal communities who are experiencing homelessness, have run away from home, are truant from school, are dealing with extreme conflict at home, or are in transition under the care of DSS, DJJ, and/or just in need of crisis counseling with their families. Youth can develop social-emotional skills and participate in individual, group, and family counseling, character education, daily life skills training, and much more. The Sea Haven Crisis Center has the top-rated staff in the SC area providing emergency support to our teens in crisis.
Young Adult Services
Young Adult Services is a resource linkage, case management, and skill-building program. This program is designed to help transition age youth 18-24 successfully navigate their transition to independence and stability. This program includes Street Outreach services, a daily Drop-in Resource Center, and Intensive Case Management services for those with immediate and critical needs in at least one key area for successful transition to adulthood. These include Education, Employment, Housing, Community Life Skills, and Health & Safety. Young Adult Services also provides consistent access to hygiene products, showers, clothing, laundry, hot meals and independent living skills resources.
Housing Our Youth Program
Housing Our Youth program provides scattered site housing services to young adults ages 18-24 who are at-risk, experiencing homelessness, or fleeing domestic violence situations. Residents of our Housing Our Youth program receive the necessary support to find or maintain employment, enroll in school, or even find affordable childcare. Through our housing program, residents can safely transition from crisis to stability.
Sea Haven Safe Place Program
As the Grand Strand’s only Safe Place Program Provider, Sea Haven provides access to immediate help and supportive resources for all youth in Horry County. As an Horry County community initiative, our Sea Haven Safe Place Program designates schools, fire stations, libraries, and other youth-friendly organizations as Safe Place locations. Designated Safe Place locations in Horry County display the yellow and black Safe Place sign, as the universal symbol of youth safety.
When teens find themselves in crisis or needing a safe place to stay, knowing how and where to get help is critical. Through Safe Place immediate help is never too far away, thanks to our 130+ local Safe Place Site partners who step into this role to act as a safety net and serve as a gateway to Sea Haven support for at risk youth.

Love & Logic Classes
Sea Haven now offers FREE monthly classes on “Parenting with Love and Logic” based on the Love & Logic parenting model.
Whether you are a single parent, married couple, blended family, or going through a divorce, attending this interactive parenting class is right for you. Classes are for parents with children of any age and the techniques are simple and easy to learn. And it is FREE!
The Love and Logic model is a 30-year-old philosophy of raising and teaching children which allows adults to be happier, empowered, and more skilled in the interactions with children. Love and Logic is a way of working with children that puts parents and teachers back in control, teaches children to be responsible, and prepares young people to live in the real world, with its many choices and consequences.
The “Parenting with Love and Logic” sessions begin the first Tuesday of every month from 5:30-7:00 pm. Sessions will continue weekly each Tuesday evening at the same time and will end after 4 weeks. Participants who complete all 4 workshops will receive an official “Certificate of Participation”.

To Receive a Certificate of Completion:
Participants will receive 8 credit hours after completion of all 4 classes. Credits are applicable for foster parents seeking recertification or other parenting or youth supervision education requirements.
