Description:

Youth Crisis Counselor (PRN position)

1st Shift: 8a-4p

2nd Shift: 4p-12a

3rd Shift: 12a-8a

This opportunity is located at our Youth Crisis Center in Little River, SC.  Sea Haven provides trauma-informed care in a positive youth development environment for youth ages 12-17. Successful candidates will possess strong communication and documentation skills, be creative problem solvers, demonstrate critical thinking skills, be a team player, and have at least one year of experience working with teens/young adults (paid or unpaid). A valid driver’s license required to assist with transporting clients.

*IMPORTANT*

All applicants must be at least 21 years of age (due to SC licensing requirements) and will undergo fingerprinting for full background screenings including:

• SLED
• DSS Central Registry (for all states lived in the past 5 yrs)
• Sex Offender (national and state)

A valid South Carolina driver’s license with a clean driving record check, physical exam, TB test and one year of experience working with youth is also required.
